Requirements

At Book N Order, we pride ourselves on high delivery standards. To achieve this, we have a high set of standards that you must meet and continue to maintain. Failure to maintain these standards may result in your driver account being suspended.

Your License

• You must hold a valid, non-expired New Zealand driver's license
• You cannot be on a learner's license
• You must be licensed for the vehicle type that you will use
• You will be required to submit a photo of your license prior to approval

Your vehicle

• Must be roadworthy and safe to drive
• Must be registered and have a valid warrant of fitness (WoF)
• Must be insured and you must be a named driver on the insurance
• Must be kept clean and well maintained. We are delivering food so proper hygiene and cleanliness of your vehicle are essential

Insulated Food Bag

• You must possess an insulated food delivery bag which has to be used for every delivery
• You should have an insulated pizza delivery bag if you are to do deliveries for pizza shops

The Right Attitude

• Keeping restaurants and hungry customers happy is our top priority
• To do this, you will need to have a well mannered and professional attitude
• Always be courteous and kind when dealing with restaurant staff or customers
• Maintain a professional attitude in every interaction
• Treat everyone with respect including your delivery managers

Dress Appropriately

• You must dress in appropriate attire at all times
• This means no dirty, smelling or excessively revealing clothing
• Always maintain your personal hygiene
• Do not wear any attire that may offend anyone, such as shirts with bad language
